Project Description

This is a picture of a transmission pan that we just removed from a Ford f-150. This transmission is having problems and you can tell by the condition of the fluid that it had not been service regularly.  Although many manufacturers are claiming that their vehicle can go 100,000 miles without a transmission fluid service, we recommend, based on our experience, that you go no longer than 50,000 miles without a transmission service.  In some cases you should have the transmission serviced at 30,000 miles.
